कुछ गम है, जो जाते नहीं
कुछ गम है, जो जाते नहीं
क्यूँ तेरा पेगाम लेकर अब परिंदे आते नहीं
मैं गयी थी, तेरे घर तेरे बारे मे पूछने
पर वो भी मुझे अब कुछ बताते नहीं
सारी सारी रात निकल जाती है, करवटे लेते हुए
तुम आकर क्यूँ कोई नज़म सुनाते नहीं
देखते हो रोज़ मुझको छुप छुप कर तुम
अगर करते हो मोहोब्बत तो जताते क्यूँ नहीं
कर रहे है लोग बदनाम तेरे नाम लेकर मुझको
क्यूँ तुम उन लोगो को चुप कराते नहीं
काश जानती, इश्क़ की कीमत खुद को बर्बाद
करके चुकानी पड़ेगी
तो तुम्हारे करीब हम कभी आते नहीं

Why the birds do not come with your letter now
I went to your house to ask about you
But they don’t even tell me anything now
The whole night passes by tossing on the bed
Why don’t you come and recite poetry
You see me every day by hiding me
If you do love then why don’t you tell me
People are maligning me with your name
Why don’t you make them silent
If i knew, i had to pay the price for love by ruining myself
So i never come close to you
