मैंने उसे भुलाने की कोशिश नहीं की
ये सच है, मैंने उससे कभी नफरत नहीं की
उसके जाने के बाद भी उसे भुलाने की कोशिश नहीं की
माना की वो बेवफा निकली
पर मैंने तो उससे कभी मोहोब्बत झूठी नहीं की
मुझे रोता हुआ छोड़कर जाने वाले
मैंने जब भी दुआ की तेरे हक़ मे दुआ की
एक आम इंसान को शायर बनाया उसने
पर उसके जाने के बाद फिर मैंने कभी शायरी नहीं की
क्या हुआ जो तू मेरे पास नहीं है
नींदो मे हमेशा मैंने तुझसे मुलाकाते की
शायद उसे ओर भी कुछ चाहिए था प्यार के सिवा
इसलिए मैंने उसे कभी रोकने की कोशिश नहीं की

It’s true that i don’t hate her
I did not try to forget her even after she left
It is true that she is unfaithfully in love
But i have never unfaithful in love with her
Leaving me crying
Whenever i prayed, i prayed for you
She made a common man a poet
But after she left, i never did poetry again
What happened you don’t have with me
I always meet you in the sleep
Maybe she wanted something more than love
So i never tried to stop her
