नाराज़ होकर कहाँ जाता मैं
नाराज़ होकर तुमसे भला कहाँ जाता मैं
गुस्सा ठंडा होते ही लौट आता मैं
तू तो जा चुका था, घर को ताला लगाकर
बता इस अंजान शहर मे रात कहाँ बिताता मैं
यहाँ कोई नहीं था मेरा तेरे सिवा
अब किसको अपना दुख सुनाता मैं
पूछते है लोग तेरी गजलों मे जो है वो
शख़्स कौन है …….
भला उनको तेरा नाम कैसे बताता मैं
तू सही था, ओर गलत मैं भी ना था
एक मौका देता तो तुझे समझाता मैं
तुमने भी कोशिश ना की मुझे रोकने की
अगर रोकते तो रूक जाता मैं

I would have come back when the anger subsided
You have gone out after locking your home

People ask me who is the person in your lyrics
How could I tell them your name
You were right but even l was not wrong
I could tell you all if you had given me an opportunity
You did not try to prevent me
